
Juan Lopez-Valcarcel is a passionate participant in the digital media revolution, with 10 years of international experience as a consultant and manager.
Currently, Juan is General Manager for iVillage.com, the leading online destination for Women with over 17 million US unique monthly visitors and 27 million worldwide. The company is owned by NBC Universal (a GE company), after a US$600 million acquisition in 2006.
Previously, Juan was VP Strategy and General Manager for iVillage UK & International initiatives.
Before joining NBC Universal, Juan was a strategy consultant working with Booz Allen Hamilton for Media, Entertainment and Telecom clients. His work experience included project team management and senior client interactions.

Juan holds a Double Degree in Business Management and Law from ICADE University in Madrid (Spain) and an INSEAD/Wharton MBA.
He speaks fluent Spanish and English, has working knowledge of German and understands French and Portuguese.
