OK, I promise this is the last TiVo post for a while, but I finally found out how to watch videos from your computer hard drive on your TiVo.
The full details are here, and the concept is a reverse version of the TiVoToGo system.
You will need to have the TiVo Desktop installed on your computer and a TiVo Series 2. Then just save any MPEG 2 file under the “My Documents/ My TiVo Recordings” folder and you will can then play the file from the TV using TiVo.
